I have loved everything about HG so far but yesterday I had a problem that HG live chat William Ho and phone rep had no resolution for. I got an email from Paypal saying my subscription to pay for my dedicated server had been canceled by HG. I am very disappointed in hostgator’s support. I have an issue with my site (TICKET EFN-12253213 – started August 12th!!) and they are just throwing me for a loop – despite a comment by a hostgator employee in my original chat, which he reported in the Aug 12th ticket, saying “Steps to Reproduce the Issue: Was able to view slow site by attempting to browse sites, pages take 15-20 seconds to load after being opened.” (normal time should be 1 or 2 seconds) Basically after a couple of years of pretty good service, my site has slowed down to a crawl. While most of the time it’s working fine, several times a day it slows down, sometimes to the point it appears to be down.
